Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Engineer with strong expertise in U.S. Insurance domain applications and cloud-based infrastructure management. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in supporting, automating, and managing applications hosted on AWS while ensuring reliability, performance, and security.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and support applications in the U.S. Insurance domain (Life, Annuity, or Health), preferably with a policy administration system.
Lead project management and solution architecture initiatives (3+ years of experience).
Support production applications with strict SLAs.
Manage batch scheduling tools (ActiveBatch, RunMyJobs, Control-M, or Autosys).
Host and support applications on AWS (2+ years).
Configure and maintain IIS, Apache TomEE, and self-hosted applications on Windows Server (2016/2019/2022).
Manage Windows Server, IIS, Active Directory, DNS, and Group Policy.
Utilize AWS services including EC2, Route 53, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, SNS, SQS, and IAM.
Automate processes using PowerShell, Ansible, or SCCM.
Work with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, shell scripting).
Monitor applications with SCOM, Site24x7, AWS CloudWatch, or similar tools.
Ensure security best practices, vulnerability management, and compliance standards are implemented.
Provide occasional weekend support as required by business needs.
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of experience in the U.S. Insurance domain.
3+ years in project management and solution architecture.
Proven experience in AWS and Windows Server administration.
Strong knowledge of automation, monitoring, and CI/CD practices.
Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
