1. Windows Support: - Troubleshooting issues with Windows operating systems (Windows 10/11, Windows Server). - Installing, configuring, and managing Windows applications. - Providing support for Active Directory (user creation, password reset, basic permissions management). - Basic knowledge of Group Policy for configuration and troubleshooting. - Experience in back-Up tools & Windows Server administrator. - Familiarity with common software tools like Office 365, antivirus programs, and remote support tools. - Basic M365 Server. 2. Basic Networking: - Understanding IP addressing, subnetting, and basic routing concepts. - Configuring and troubleshooting LAN and Wi-Fi connectivity issues. - Basic knowledge of DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP protocols. - Familiarity with common networking devices like switches and routers (e.g., knowing how to check connectivity or reset devices as per instructions). - Basic firewall and VPN knowledge to assist in troubleshooting user connectivity. 3. Ticketing and Documentation: -Using ticketing systems to manage and log support requests (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira) -Maintaining accurate records of resolved issues for future reference. 4. Communication Skills: -Clear and effective communication with end-users to understand and resolve issues. -Ability to work under supervision and escalate issues to L2/L3 support as needed.
